Our Story

No job is too big or too small. How can we help YOUR business succeed?

Lycro Products was established by Jim Clementz in 1973. Through his dedication and leadership, we quickly earned a reputation for quality and dependable service as a Tier 1 supplier to several Original Equipment Manufacturers across the country.

Renamed as Lycro Manufacturing in 2019, we continue to focus on service and craftsmanship while increasing our capabilities to meet the needs of many different manufacturers in a variety of industries.

Pride in Our Workforce and Community

At Lycro, we don’t just take pride in the quality of our work – we also take pride in the quality of our people. For years, Lycro has partnered with local community organizations to offer solid career paths to those who often have fewer opportunities to build sustainable, successful futures.

ADEC Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that proudly advocates for and serves people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties, so they have the chance to live lives full of informed choice and possibility. Lycro takes great pride in our strong relationship with ADEC. Since 2018, Lycro has worked closely with ADEC management to identify individuals who are a great fit for our facility.

HIRE (Hoosier Initiative for Re-entry) is a cooperative effort between the Department of Workforce Development, Department of Corrections, Indiana employers, and the public safety community to provide incarcerated and/or discharged Hoosiers with job readiness training and placement. At Lycro, we know the profound effect a second chance can have on people’s lives. That’s why we partner with HIRE to offer employment to ex-offenders, helping them achieve their goals of building a new life and staying on the right track.

Since 1972, the ECC has served juniors and seniors from 9 Indiana school district high schools, both public and private, placing them in a variety of jobs in which they can earn college credits through Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University. For more than 20 years, Lycro has offered ECC interns the chance to learn valuable career skills in paid positions. Today, 20% or our workforce are ECC graduates, all of whom have risen to management or lead operator positions.
